I upgraded our 509G phones from 7.5.2b to 7.5.4 and immediately noticed that the CallerID CNAM on inbound calls is truncated more than it was with the older firmware.
With 7.5.2b an incoming call would show:
From: SOME CALLER ID
With 7.5.4 an incoming call shows:
From: SOME CALLE .
Notice truncation of the CNAM with 7.5.4 along with a new period and a space.
The full CallerID CNAM is shown properly in the phone's call history. It's just being truncated to less characters than it has been in the past on the main screen when a call comes in.
Is this a bug, or by design? I don't see any reason to truncate the CallerID CNAM.
Please change it back.
