Disable caller input of * in CUE

We have been getting some Unity account lockouts by external people or tools scanning our number range and attempting login. Users really don't need to access voice mail, when they are not in their desks

My question is, what options are available to disable the default caller input of * to attempt sign in ? Can this be disabled?

There isn't a parameter in the voicemail application to disable this behavior.
