I have a UC540 that has both MAC and PC users who need VPN access. Currently the router has the Windows based Anyconnect client installed, and users connecting with PC via the Anyconnect client work fine.
I've installed the MAC Anyconnect client on a local MAC, however it is not able to connect to the VPN. Error message is "The AnyConnect package on the secure gateway could not be located. You may be experiencing network connectivity issues. Please try connecting again."
I assume by this message that both the router and the computer must be using the same anyconnect package type, such as both windows or both MAC
I have also set up the VPN server.
Can I accomodate both types of computers by having PCs connect via the SSL anyconnect and the MAC using an IPSec client? Can MAC's and PC's use the IPSec client at the same time? or will the MAC user receive an error using the IPSec client as well if a windows based anyconnnect is installed?
If someone could test this in a lab it would be much appreciated.
