Hello,
I am on the hunt for a good solution for gaming via VPN for older games that support only LAN connections.
I currently have anyconnect going and that works well and all if we manually enter the host IP.
My wish is to make games available in server-listings which, i assume is found by broadcasts.
I know that anyconnect VPN wont pass broadcasts, but maybe there is a workaround of some sort?
I do have access to a PI that runs unix dist raspbian if that could run some service maybe?
Any input is much appreciated!
Cheers,
Cristian

Hi Cristian Nilsson,
Actually as you just said AnyConnect or even the ASA itself does not support broadcast or multicast over a VPN tunnel (Remote Access or L2L). Unfortunately there is not a workaround for this.
You can definitely achieve this using a GRE/IPSEC tunnel but that is a completely different design and will require different platforms since the ASA does not support GRE tunnel.
Hope this info helps!!
