Just deployed Cisco Anyconnect, and got an issue with Captive Portal.
We have always on set with "Allow Captive Portal Remediation" set.
When connecting to portal the anyconnect built in browser pops up but fails to connect because of the laptop browser proxy settings, that are set by GPO.
Can Anyconnect disable the proxy when making the connection then once vpn is established re-instate the proxy settings.

Can Anyconnect disable the proxy when making the connection then once vpn is established reset the proxy settings.
is the proxy configured manually ? or loaded when the user logged ?
Look some DHCP options, or proxy bypass that URL.

The proxy settings are managed by our AD group policy.

who manage this proxy ? then do proxy bypass.

We manage the proxy, but we only need the proxy setting dropped when trying to access portal. once vpn is up we need the proxy setting back to original, as the user will not be able to access the web and some corporate services

I mean you need to bypass the proxy only that URL, so user can redirect to get authenticated.
rest process will be same as it it.
