Hi all;

Recently, I encountered a failed AnyConnect installation on a client and the normal uninstallation procedures did not answer. Are there any official Cisco's documentation regarding on how to force uninstall operation and then clean up a failed AnyConnect installation?

Thanks

  - There aren't ; probably best thing to do is to flash the PC (re-install from scratch) ; but save user data first ,

Hi @marce1000. Reinstalling the operating system from scratch is not the perfect solution as companies like Microsoft has tools which you can use in the same manner as for example if Office fails to uninstall normally...

What do you mean by "failed Anyconnect"?
Is there a specific error you're getting?

How are you trying to push updates? (i.e., predeploy, webdeploy, SCCM)

Thanks for your reply;

The installed AnyConnect app does not work as expected and so, I want to remove it from the client and try to reinstall it again. But, when I try to uninstall it from "program and Features" section in Control Panel, I encounter the following error message:

This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app, or if one is already installed...

I have installed Secure Client using Group Policy.

Thanks

Unfortunately the mentioned solutions do not apply to my case. Thanks again
