Can establish VPN between Cisco UC520 with any Router

Hello All Friends,

We have using Cisco UC520 Router with two analog line at present in Australia Office, now I am looking to put a Cisco phone in New Zealand office So they can call us and we can call them.
As we are incurring international calls to NZ so it is starting cost some money.
Can anyone tell me Will they need the Cisco router for this to work Or will any router that can establish a VPN connection work Also if a VPN connection is established to our network
Can we lock it down so that access is limited,  as I don’t want NZ to have full access to our servers At this stage I just want the phone to work....

Hi,

If you're going to establish an IPsec VPN tunnel between the UC500 and other site, any other router that supports IPsec will work.

IPsec is a standard and not specific to cisco equipment.
