Cisco ASA 5506-X IKEv2 support

Hello,

Can anybody please confirm if ASA 5506-X supports IKEv2? and if so, starting what firmware version it does?

if possible please provide a link from Cisco to verify. Thanks

• Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.12(4)26
• Name: "Chassis", DESCR: "ASA 5506-X with SW, 8GE Data, 1GE Mgmt, AC"

@m4k3rz IKEv2 has been supported since 8.4, as you are running 9.12 you should be fine. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/roadmap/asa_new_features.html

If you upgrade to the latest supported version 9.16 for your hardware, be aware older crypto ciphers have been depreciated.
