Hello Everyone,
So I have a client in China and I need to be able to VPN into their network to support some hardware/software. Am I able to purchase a Cisco Asa 5506, configure it, then send it to the client in China without issue? Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. I did a little research and keep coming across the "Great Firewall in China" and that I might only be able to use SSL VPN due to encryption export issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark

From what part of country you like to send device to china ?
Why not buy Locally and you send the configuraiton, so they can configure and test it.
It is hard to say some time, Internet suppose to be Open, But some countries have their own governance and restriction (that will play big role on Local ISP offering Services)
best only you can do some testing and see how that goes.
I worked some time back with China company we could able to establish VPN, but as time to time policy changes.
Hope that make sense ?
