Hi All,
I'm having a strange problem when a VPN access from Windows 8 through the Cisco ASA. The connection is made successfully, but I can not access resources such as a website over port 443, where the error occurs connection failure, as if the port was closed, but when I try to access from Windows 7, the access is performed smoothly.
I'm using the ADSM version 6.4 (9) and ASA is 8.2 (5) 44. The type of tunneling is IPSec and authentication is LDAP.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you all!
Jorge

Since the development of VPN Client is discontinued, I don't think Cisco VPN Client is supported by Windows 8.
You should switch to AnyConnect.

If you use Main Mode and not Aggressive Mode, and also AES with SHA (not 3DES / MD5) it should be safe enough.
