Cisco VPN Client On Different Subnet with VPN3005 Private Interface.

Hi all,

Would appreciate if anyone can help me on this. I have a VPN3005 box, with public ip 210.187.x.y/27, and private ip 172.16.x.y/28. It use internal pool to assign the remote client under the range of 172.17.x.1-254/24. I have few servers (ip 134.65.62.x/26) sitting on the same wired LAN with the VPN3005 private interface.

How do I enable the remote client to access the servers? I have tried putting in a router with 1 Ethernet port, assigned 3 set of ip addresses as secondary, but the remote clients seems not able to ping/access to the internal (134.65.62.x) servers.

Can anybody help? Please.

Thank you.

Regards,

Wei Ming.

you need something to route to that subnet. once you set that router up, did you add a static route (or run a routing protocol) on the 3005 so that it could route packets to that subnet?
