If I am a small business with a 5505 (either Sec Plus Bundle or Base Bundle with Unlimited Users)...what are my options for client to site VPN access? It is my understanding that I would need to purchase separate licenses for Anyconnect...so what can I do without "Anyconnect"..or maybe more to the point..what can't I do?
I can still do SSL or IPSEC client to site right?

l2tp over IPsec is something ASA will terminate and you don't need a client - typically one is built into OS (MS, Apple, Android,...)

You can always use the "free" Cisco VPN client (IPsec IKe v1) available for windows 32/64 / mac / linux.
But as the Cisco VPN client is EoS try anyconnect essential license (you need to buy only 1 license):

Note: be aware that the Cisco ASA 5505 max simultaneous anyconnect or vpn clients are 25
