Configuring VPN without a static IP

Hi All,

I need to Configure VPN between PIx 506E

and 3005 Concentrator

but the pix end doesn't have a public IP

the tunnel is terminated at the DSL modem end

So i need Configure Pix like a VPn client ."If I configured it in base group does it affect my exsisting VPN tunnels"

HI .. it might affect your existing vpn tunnels as the specific groups get their configs from the defautl group when there are not values specified at the specific group level. I suggest you creating a new group for you PIX. Below a brief example of the config you need to apply to your PIX.

vpnclient server

vpnclient mode network-extension-mode

vpnclient vpngroup password ********

vpnclient username password ********

vpnclient enable

Thankyou for your reply But Behind the PIx end I need to connect 5 machines in that case does it helps

and I need to define acls for accessing 5 diff networks

ex

if pix internal has 10.1.1.0/24 and it need to connect diff subnets which is behind the Concentrator how i Have to Do the Configuration .
