DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - VPN Client 5.0.07.0410

I am connecting to a corporate network using VPN Client 5.0.07.0410. I can successfully connect, but after around anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes after connecting, I am getting a BSOD error (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL).

Configuration:

Dell Optiplex 380

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz

3.21GB of RAM

Windows XP Pro 2002 SP3

VPN Client 5.0.07.0410

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.7200.1147

History:

First installation of the VPN Client caused problems with the network adapter mid way through the installation, resulting the PC being unable to connect to the local network. After a Windows roll back and a new installation of the VPN client there were no apparent issues.

Analysis:

I have searched the web and this site which indicates the problem may be related to the Cisco System VPN Adapter driver, but I believe I am using the latest version.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\CVirtA.sys

Date 19/01/2007

Version 5.0.0.1

What else could be the problem here?

Your help is appreciated, thank you in advance.
