Hi, I'm building a vpn using a Easy VPN server on 8xx adsl router and a remote client who uses xp pro.
Server side is configured but, when the documentation says "easy vpn client" it means vpn client 4.6 or 4.7 or 4.8 cisco vpn client? or is a especial software?
Best regards
Edgar Quintana

From the support standpoint, EasyVPN client means hardware client.
Like routers or PIX firewall connected as a client to the headend side. (which will be an EasyVPN server).
The normal software clients are called as VPN clients.

Easy VPN client means both hardware client and software clients. Cisco VPN client comes under S/W client and Routers, PIX/ASA and VPN concentrator comes under H/W client.
