Hello,

You mean access the same internal host using different global o public Ip addresses?

If that is the question, yes it can be done.

What version are you running?

Thanks Julio for the prompt reply.

I am using 8.2(2).

How to do that?

When I was trying to NAT a secondary public IP to the same internal IP on ASDM, I got the following error msg:

"The modified Static NAT Rule cannot be configured, as it overlaps with following existing rules"

Hello,

static (inside,outside) 4.2.2.2 10.10.100.180

access-list test permit ip  10.10.100.180 255.255.255.255 any

  static (inside,outside) 4.2.2.3 access-list test

INFO: overlap with existing static

  inside:10.10.100.180 to outside:4.2.2.2 netmask 255.255.255.255

As you see this time is not an error message is just an INFO message

Thank you jcarvaja. I will try the command line later today.

But how come on ASDM it was an error and won't let me go thougth?

Hello,

That is because you are not doing it as I am doing it ( With an ACL,etc)

Try it, that will work!

Just remember to rate all the post, that does not hurt anyone
