ISDN not able to connect

pankajs

I have not been able to dial to a specific remote location from my central location. This is the only site where I am not able to dial, all other locations work fine.

Attched is config and debug.

File named "CE" is from central router and file "CODO" is from remote router.

Bri1/1 is the interface used to dial remote router. Remote router is able to dial itself.

Please suggest what can be causing this not to work.

Hello,

there is one other thing you could try: possibly, your provider is using a legacy switch that sends a bearer capability of 56K. Try to change the dialer map statements as following:

On the CE router:

CE-FAIZABAD

dialer map ip 10.2.40.8 name DOCO-IRRG-DIV-2-SLTNPR speed 56 broadcast 955362229909

On the branch router:

DOCO-IRRG-DIV-2-SLTNPR

dialer map ip 10.2.40.1 name CE-FAIZABAD speed 56 broadcast

Layer2 Multiple frame establised

ISDN configured both end,

if we put ISDN test call its showing nothing in ISDN history

if we put ter mon its showing nothin

im stuck with this problem.

please help us,

Regards,

Mohan.

Hi Mohan,

Enable debug isdn standard or debug isdn events with term mon. Then self dial your number. See if you get anything in the debug.or if you are able to dial ur own number.

If you are able to self dial then try the same on the router on other end. If both are able to self dial then try to dial between two routers. Capture the debug and config from both routers and post it here.
