Problems Configuring ISDN PRI on VWIC-2MFT-E1 Card

I have a Cisco 3725 router with one VWIC-2MFT-E1 card installed in Slot 0. The router is running IOS image 12.2(15)T14 IP Plus.

I trying to configure the card for ISDN PRI data, and it's not working. Can some time me if I'm missing a configuration step or whether the card will not support ISDN PRI configuration. Thanks

Looks like you don't have enough DSP resources. Check to make sure you have sufficient resources. Do a "sh diag" and it wil tell you there what you have. The output is a little different for DSP's across routers. Here is one for a 2821

The VWIC-MFT-E1 card is supported as ISDN-PRI only for voice calls, *NOT DATA*.

We will need DSPs for supporting voice, so this card can be installed in a NM-HDV2 with DSPs on it

OR if installed in chassis slot then will need some thing like a AIM-ATM-VOICE-30 to provide DSPs for voice.

None of the VWICs support data. They only support voice calls with DSP. So in order to have E1 for Data calls, you need to have network modules either NM-1CE1T1-PRI or NM-2CE1U or NM-1FE1CE1U etc..

the vwic2 in 2800 either does not support data on ISDN? the datasheet does not specify it, like towards in the previous version
