We are looking to implement a remote dialin solution using cisco 1700 routers thru PSTN and/or ISDN links
What are the security implications and requirements apart from setting up AAA and encryption using CHAP?
How do cisco RAS such as the 1700 integrate with existing company firewall, and do they need to for dialin links?
Do you need to firewall the dialin links ?...i personally don't see why it is necessary but i'm probably wrong
And what could role could a VPN concentrator perform, if any, for securing traditional dialin traffic i.e employee calling a number and being called back NOT an ISP VPN solution.
