How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi BB,

1. I added a new tunnel with outside interface (WAN 1)

2. Local Security group : local security gateway type - I selected IP only and it comes up with Public ip of router

and local security group type I choose the subnet and add 192.168.x.0/24 subnet

3. Remote Client set up : remote security gateway type - I chose IP only and add the publc ip add (my ip add) of my client laptop

4. IPsec set up - I chose IKE with preshared key option and enter respective authentication and encryption protocols and created the preshared key and enabled and saved it.

And I also created the user on Vpn client access tab.

But when I went to vpn summary tab, I noticed status for vpn tunnel waiting for connection and am not able to connect through vpn

I tried to connect on my client laptop thriugh cisco anyconnect it does not allow connection. Its hows me message Connection attempt failed. Please try again.

I also tried  through cisco quick vpn it also show connection failed

Thank you

Regards,

Mandeep

Suggest to look at message history for more logs - that is generic error.

What is your operating system version and AnyConnect version?

For testing : can you try https://remote-vpn-ip-url:443 ? what is the results ?
