Hi,
Below is current network topology :-
Network A ---> Symantec FW ---> Internet
I need to add PIX 501 in following way :-
Network A ---> PIX 501 ---> Symantec FW ---> Internet
Problem Description:- I don´t have have prior configuration knowledge / backup of Symantec FW and even don´t know the IP address that has been assigned to Symantec FW. Unable to access the GUI of Symantec FW. There is no console port in Syamntec FW like Cisco PIX contains. We can have access to console through using serial port of Symantec FW and COM port of Computer but for that we need to change DIP Switch settings and if we change DIP switch settings then there are chances that we will lost the current configuration in Syamntec FW and we don´t have any backup configuration with us.Symantec FW works on the basis of Proxy ARP.
Could any one please assist that how we can get IP address that has been assigned to Symantec or in general any further guidance would be highyl appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Ahmad

Hi Prem,
There is only 1 router and that is being provided by ISP for internet connectivity and we don´t have any access to it. It is 3Com ADSL router and PIX is connected with it. Main problem is that neither we are able to access GUI of Syamntec FW nor we have any idea about the IP that is being assigned to it.

Ahmad
