I have a VPN set up between our Netscreen-10 and a PIX firewall. The VPN is working fine (i can see every device on the other side of the pix), however I cannot see the internal interface of the pix. I would like to be able to telnet to and ping the internal address from the other side of the vpn. How can I do this?

The only way to do this is to telnet to a server or router internally through the VPN and then telnet back to the inside interface of the PIX.

Since most of my firewall installations have involved a switch on the inside, I usually write a script to telnet first to the switch inside the firewall and then back to the firewall.

Another option would be to SSH into the pix from outside of your tunnel.
