User can't get 'AnyConnect Start Before Login' to run

Hello,

Dell laptop Latitude 5410

Windows 10 Enterprise build 19041

We have a user that has tried installing 'AnyConnect Start Before Login' (4.10.01075) and it installs but it doesn't actually start when he reboots his machine and never gets the option to launch (and login) via the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.
Consequently he can never remotely receive gpo's or group membership changes unless he drives into the office and gets on the corp network.

Is there a process (or tool) to remove all components of the client and start fresh? Add/Remove doesn't accomplish the uninstall

Thanks all

hello,

Yes, it was checked.

There is a flaw related to how Hyper-V Hosts handles virtualized networking. If a network adapter is added to the Virtual switch manager it is, from then on, bound to the virtual switch manager, either to the host through the “Default Switch” or to one of the Hyper-V Virtual Machines as one of its mounted NICS.

If you Add a network adapter to a virtual switch and have issues, we performed a full network reset first and then (re) added the adapters, rather than removing them and re-adding in the Virtual Switch Manager client without a Network reset.

Issue is resolved

Do you have a VPN profile with the Start Before Logon option enabled?  This is required for the SBL module to show up on the logon screen.
