VPN Client AD deployment

We have 4.8.01.0300 VPN client that needs to be rolled by AD. CSCse00525 is raised but I could not see any fix yet.Is there a version of VPN client that can be deployed by AD ? The previous (but vulnerable) version 4.05 was deployed using AD.
