Can the vpn client be used to log on to a novell server instead of a Windows domain?

Hi Adrian,
If you are talking about Client Authentication to a Novell server, then the answer is NO
However, if you are asking if the client can log into a Novell Server tree after establishing the IPSec tunnel, then the answer is Yes. Make sure that you have Directory Agent defined on the Novell Client

Yes, Cisco can authenticate to a Novell server. LDAP authentication has been around for years.

We use ACS and the NDS tree to autheticate the VPN user using xauth on the PIX , we have the Novell client installed on the remote PC's and they can access all the relevant servers and drives using an IP only connection.
