Wake-on-lan via VPN Client

Hi,

I have a setup where a customer uses a 1841 as his CPE and he uses VPN Client to connect to the Fa0/0 LAN. The VPN Client pool is 192.168.2.0/24 and the Fa0/0 LAN is in the 192.168.1.0/24 range.

Is there a possibility to have a VPN connected user turning on his/her PC on the LAN with WOL (Wake on LAN)? I know that the WOL packet is a udp broadcast but is there a way to get it working?

Yes and no.

I know users who uses the same setup but they have a computer with the swol software from solarwinds that they connect to just to send the wol packet.

then they connect to their own equipment.

(everything but remote desktop is blocked through vpn.)

However I do not know of any way around this setup.
