Windows 9X to Pix PPTP VPN issues

I have run into an issue using VPN on 9X machines.

The client is a 98 pc that has been logging onto a NT Domain in the past.

When the pc VPN into the pix it fails wih bad username/ password

I have got windows to create ppplog and windows is prepending the nt domain name onto the user name (domain\user).

Other than putting the pc into a workgroup is there any other way round this?

Try to add the following to your pix config:

vpdn username DOMAINNAME/USERNAME password XXXXXX

Thansk, I had realised that that was probably possible.

I was wondering if anyone had resolved the actual problem rather than changing the vpdn username..
