My company executives would like to use their wireless PDA/Mobile phone (they're using I-Mate running on PocketPC 2003) to connect to the corporate internal Exchange server (that is synchronising their email on the PDA with the exchange server). I think the way to do this would be via a VPN connection to the perimeter PIX 515ER fw. The problem is I don't think that the built-in VPN client (PocketPC 2K3) is not compatible with the way that the PIX authenticate IPSec. That is the PIX will first authenticate based on the group, then XAuth (if enabled) and lastly the MS domain authentication (which is not PIX but client authentication). Does any one knows of a VPN client out there (for PDA) that is compatible with the way that PIX authenticate IPSec? Thanks for your reply.
