IronPort S-Series - Reporting data

Hi,

I was wondering where IronPort keeps the data for reporting purposes, since we are sending all log files to a remote server and IronPort still shows information from several months before. Can someone answer this doubt? And how can I manage this data, if possible? Thanks in advance.

Im not where i can dig in to confirm it, but some of that data is kept in the log files. I believe the reporting engine might have some version of the data also, but it might just always go back to parsing the logs....
