When installing the room kit, does the Touch 10 panel need to be plugged directly into the codec? Or can they both be plugged into the same switch and communicate that way?

Hi,

It is not required to connect Touch 10 directly to Video System/Codec. You can connect Touch 10 to your network and pair with Video System/Codec. Please go through below installation guide:
