External administrator not able to delete in Webex Control Hub

Dear Team,

I am currently facing an issue in the Webex Control Hub. Specifically, I am unable to delete an external administrator. Additionally, the multifactor authentication for the external administrator is not working.

Could you please assist us in resolving this issue?

External accounts (admin or user) owned by another orgID will not use your org’s authentication config. Their own org must be configured for MFA (or SSO which enforces MFA).

As for your inability to delete them: you’re a full admin, correct? Does WCH give you an error? If you click the copy link in it and paste into a text editor, is there a clear indication of why the API call failed? If not, you’ll have to open a TAC case.

But there is no option showing for the deletion of external administrators from WCH.

Hey Dipak,
So, it depends on the role of the external admin. For example, if the external admin is a partner that has sold services to your company, then they cannot be removed from your organization due to the partner-customer sales relationship. However, as Jonathan mentioned above, if you continue to face the issue, please open a TAC case so we can investigate further.
