Stop Auto Update or Revert to Webex Meeting

Is it possible to revert to the previous version, Webex Meeting.

The new webex has a lot of bugs and should not be deployed yet.

1. Response time in the buttons are lagging and very slow especially if there is a breakout room.

2. Bug on Music Mode. New Webex is regulating the music, which is only for Optimizing.

3. No way to sort the attendees. Only based on entered time in the meeting.

4. Confusing options like changing permissions.

5. No option to disable floating window when webex is in the back.

6. Limited area for Floating Window.

7. Bug in different modes (example: cohosts on mobile shows people entering using Lobby is UNKNOWN.)

8. Auto saving Display Name and only allowed to change when you re entering the room re entering all information.

9.  No option to change Display name in IOS devices.

10. Auto hiding names of participants.

11. Some devices auto disables incoming videos from participants.

List goes on and on and you should have deployed with less bugs.

+2 about unmute for those joined from browser.

1. after call-in, mute/unmute button disappeared on web;

2. host mute all and unmute all, user cannot unmute themselves cuz the unmute button was gone.

Update of the Webex app or the migration to the Webex Suite meetings platform?

If the former, open a TAC case per issue and get defect IDs filed. If the latter your Webex CSM can assist with a rollback; however, it will only work for meetings hosted on your site(s). Users joining meetings hosted on other sites that have been migrated will continue to see the new experience. Again, TAC cases are the best long term solution here. The developers can’t fix issues they don’t know about.

PS- Cisco product management doesn’t monitor these forums.
