When I am the host and need to record, I share the screen and then press the record button.

When I press the record button, I can't see the participant's video.

Thats not normal, I can see the participants Video when sharing the screen and recording the meeting. 

Did you hide the  show video panel ?

as this is works-as-designed, it isn't an error.

The full participant list with video isn't available, when you share the screen.

Since it's not an error, this forum is the wrong platform, as the community is for helping solving problems.
