Hi Community,
we are currently performing a feasibility study for the Webex app. Currently, we are using jabber with an on-premises call manager cluster. One of the options I am unable to figure out in the Webex world is that how do I configure federation with external non-Webex users. We are having an XMPP federation with our large customers using on-premises jabber.
please advise if anyone comes across the federation setup in Webex.
Regards,
Shalid

As far as I know, there is no workaround yet to be able to share presence status with federated organizations. There are a couple of similar requests here you can upvote, or add your own.

Have you read this?

Thanks, @Wade H. for your response. yeah I read that but it says as
When your users add people using XMPP, Webex users don't see any availability for XMPP users and XMPP users see Webex users as Away.
if I understand the above statement correctly, either of the users (WebEx or external domain XMPP users) doesn't get the presence status. is there any way that the users can see the presence status of each other.
