Hello,
How do I give a user the capability to forward the main phone number (currently is a Auto Attend). Ideally I want to do a hotkey so in the event of an emergency it quickly forwards to a number that is predefined.
Anyone have any thoughts on how achieving this?
Thank You

Yep, sounds like it is just for CQs. But if the main number is a CQ with CF/A to the AA..? Maybe worth a try..

I work for a K12 school district @rtarson and many of our office staff simply log into Webex either on a cell phone or computer connected to a hotspot/alternate WiFi connection and use Webex to answer calls. No additional forwarding or call management is needed as long as they are logged in for that hunt group. Could this work in this instance as well?

This request comes from our superintendent he wants calls coming here to the main district office. Doesnt want staff who are in lock down worrying about answering calls.

The mentioned FACs are only for forwarding the own number, not for an AA.
AAs do either have the off business hour schedule -- unfortunately, there is currently no manual way to enable the night service.
The AA also has the ability to configure a call forwarding, but that is only possible from CH.
So, currently there is no way to forward the AA by a hot key or so. You should post or upvote an enhancement request via https://ciscocollabcustomer.ideas.aha.io/

I did not see the "AA"...read it too fast :). They may be able to do something with the new operating mode feature. Call routing based on operating modes in Webex Calling which will give permissions on the device or user hub. This is a new feature that i have not tested yet so it may not work for an AA.

You are correct this does work... The Operating mode and they even added the ability to do it from the phone directly too! Very cool. However sucks they only added this to work with Call Queues. Cause our end goal is in the event a school is under a lockdown to forward calls. From the main number to someone who can answer so parents are panicking.
Its worth a shot to do what you suggested, CQ (with main number) with Operating mode CF to the AA seems messy but good temp solution for the time being.

Use feature codes. Create 2 speed dials on your phone and label them what you wish. If you have the new 9800 series phone you can also program the action button.
1. *72 and the number/destination (this turns on the call forwarding).
2. *73 - this turns off the call forwarding
