If the Webex application is no directly opened, the phone will not ring and will only ping a miss call. Only rings when the application is opened on the home screen.
tried re installing the application but the problem comes back shortly after.
Any fixes?

Does your organization have Apple Push Notifications setup correctly.

APN setup is just required when using UCM.
As we're in the Webex Calling forum, I think @irvin.navarro is referring to Webex Calling (Cloud Calling), right? In that case, no APN setup is required..

Have you checked to make sure the "Background app refresh" setting is enabled? iPhone Settings - Webex - toggle the setting on.

Unfortunately not yet. Webex did put out new version of the application but that didn't solve the issue.
