Porting of Numbers into WebEx Calling

Hello.

Can the customer who has existing on-prem based phone numbers be ported?  They want to port

1) 800 toll-free number

2) Regular DID main line like 310-555-5000

Can 1 and 2 be ported?

thanks

Hi @ANACLETOJHUNDELEON6726,

If you are planning to use Cisco Calling Plan for PSTN service then at this time porting of regular DIDs is supported. The Toll-Free number support is in roadmap but not sure when it will be available.

But if you are planning to use Cisco Cloud Connected PSTN Provider (CCPP) for PSTN service then both regular DIDs and Toll Free number porting is supported.

Porting of numbers is a very standard process. For the DIDs they process is defined in this document: https://help.webex.com/en-US/article/nousk9ab/Get-Started-with-the-Cisco-Calling-Plan#task_F86AA0031DB850D5AF722B9F6E356F49

It appears Cisco Calling Plans do not yet support toll free numbers, however. If that is still the case, and maybe someone else can comment here, then you would need to keep your toll free with another provider and point it to one of the DID's hosted by Cisco.
