Voicemail group missing voicemail and then they magically appear later

We have Webex Calling and have setup a voicemail group for a shared voicemail box.  Everything seemed to be working well.  Greeting is fine, leaving voicemails was working, but then the group complained people were calling saying no one was responding to their voicemails.

Symptom:  People get the greeting, leave a voicemail, but it doesn't show up all the time.  Then a few days later last week, all of a sudden, the shared box had 23 new messages and they were all messages from several days ago that magically appeared.

So, it doesn't appear they are getting deleted, they just appeared severely delayed or ?  Other voicemails throughout the day seem to work so there is no pattern.  It's not an all or nothing.  It seems to be working and then old voicemails we never heard before magically appear hours or days later.

Hello, did Cisco TAC provide any insight to the cause of this issue? Thank you :).

Unfortunately, no. It wasn't from a lack of Cisco TAC helping. We just couldn't determine the root cause. Voicemails would randomly show up 24 hours later. We moved away from this particular group box and haven't experienced it anywhere else.

My best guess is a corrupted mailbox?

Thanks,

Sounds strange..
I'd suggest to raise a TAC case for that
