Hello guys,
I installed Cisco room kit EQ, but it's shows Amplifier detection error how to solve this issue,

FYI, we ended up running the xcommand to change the platform to EQ, as referenced above, which cleared the error. The EQX model has an amp built in that I believe it is referencing or looking for when it is configured for that platform, that the EQ does not have.

Hi Chris,
I just reset the Cisco codec EQ. During the initial setup on the Cisco Room Navigator, you can choose between EQ and EQX. I chose EQ.

What effect does it have if the unit reports that it is an EQX vs an EQ? I am having the same issue as the original poster, with my EQ showing as an EQX.

The amplifier detection error is unique to the unit that reports EQX, we have another unit reporting correctly as EQ that has the amplifier working fine. So it appears that this mis-representation is creating this error with the amplifier.

Hello Ashish,
I checked ProductPlatform, it seems Room Kit EQX

I have the same issue. Codec is a Cisco room kit EQ but under ProductPlatform it says Room Kit EQX. That is a problem because its not really an EQX. Hopefully cisco can shed some light here.

If you're using an EQX, then you need to refer to the EQX wiring diagram: room-kit-eqx-wiring-diagram.pdf (cisco.com)
