Mute and unmuting devices

If I have wirelessly paired to a device and started my meeting from the Teams or meetings app. Can I mute and unmute devices from the application?

If you are paired and joined into the meeting from the device, muting yourself in the meeting should mute the video system. I believe additional virtual controls will be added into Teams in the future.
