Does this cable (CAB-USBC-AC-9M=) connect to the port labeled with the spanner (Blue dot on snippet)

I assume a recent firmware update enables this cable to work?

Not sure what you are trying to do but I don't think you can leverage the codec pro to use it as a USB passthrough device with the cable you mention because it's not supported. You might want to reference these depending on what I think you are doing

I have since found that BYOM is not required but only content sharing via this cable CAB-USBC-AC-9M=)..

Would simply Content share from a laptop into the codec pro work using the ciscoCAB-USBC-AC-9M=) cable?

No use HDMI cable below (or attach dongles to an HDMI cable) or webex app with wireless sharing. Mircast (wired LAN needed on codec pro) or Airplay (uses Bluetooth if the antenna are connected and in close vicinity of the sharer) are also options.
