Hi,
I'm trying to see what would be the best way to incorporate a custom directory into Webex App. Customer is migrating to Webex Calling and Webex App will replace many existing physical phones and Jabber.
I was hoping that Webex App would have a feature similar to Jabber's "Custom Embedded Tabs".
Thanks so much!

In Control Hub, you may add organization wide links (shortcuts) to the left bar. They will show up above the help button. These shortcuts will open the linked web page in a browser view.

You may build your own app and add it as a web tab. Embedded apps are more for collaborating.
There are also solutions that have already such a tab, for instance https://www.recos-ic.ch/
There is also work ongoing for a Webex directory that provide organization contacts to all of your users. afaik only manual/CSV import yet, but ad sync etc was already requested

When you mention a "web tab" are you referring just to a plain browser tab?
In the perfect world, I would like to add a button to the left side of Webex App, where "Messaging", "Teams", Contacts" are.
I can see that there is a way to add a tab to "Spaces" and add an application in "meetings" but so far I can't find a way to add anything to the Webex App itself.
