That's true!
Looking at the logs in details may be a job for TAC in specific to the Webex App due to its complexity. But you can use the WBT tracer grabber and send the logs to TAC after issue reproduced and they will be happy to assist you with the join result.

Hi Aswin,
Optimal connection point is achieved with what is known as GDM in Webex cloud services, with Webex Meeting Client on your PC you can take advantage of it as long as the site hosting the meeting is GDM enabled. I'm afraid Cloud Video endpoints yet lack this feature.

Thats nice to know. Any idea how to find the media discovery result stored inside webex room kit device?
I recently read that "Webex apps and Webex Room Devices perform tests to detect the reachability of, and round-trip time to, a subset of nodes in each media cluster available to your organization. Media node reachability is tested over UDP, TCP and TLS transport protocols and occurs on start-up, a network change, and periodically while the app or device is running. The results of these tests are stored by the Webex app/ Webex device and sent to the Webex cloud prior to joining a meeting, or a call."
Would like to view the test result stored in the device.

Which protocol is it using for media ? TCP, UDP or TLS ? TLS is only fallback and I am not sure how many media nodes are there available in each DC

Primary UDP, then TCP. Device register directly to cloud without any video mesh nodes.
