Hi all,

Please confirm hybrid messaging as a feature requires only needs any paid Webex license for the org, not for a specific users? Based on the Cisco doc, found this comments: "ensure that the user is assigned at least one paid service under Licensed Collaboration Services.", Which one is correct?

Thanks,

Eric

Hello Eric,

Thank you for reaching out. In order to schedule a meeting, at least one user (the host) must have a Webex account. In order to take advantage of the premium features available in Webex Meetings, the host must have a paid Webex account. All other meeting attendees (non-hosts) do not require a paid account. As a paid subscriber, you can add users to your account so they can enjoy the same premium host benefits as the account holder. Each additional user requires an additional paid license.

Kind regards,

Blair

Hi,

You need to make sure all users are previously licensed for Cisco Jabber, with Jabber registered to Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence. On top of this, you need any paid-for Cisco Webex Teams offer for your organization. Please check Licensing and Entitlement section of this guide:
