Adding a cohost to a scheduled meeting

I have scheduled a meeting, I now need to add a cohost to the meeting. I have tried right clicking on the attendees name and that is not working, I have also tried looking for an edit icon and I don't seem to have one. Is there any other way to add a cohost?

Hello Dail,

WHILE SCHEDULING

Pre-requisites to become co-host

> The prospective co-host must have an active host account on the same site on which the meeting/event/ training is scheduled

How to do it:

As mentioned by you, go to "Who's invited" section and right-click on their name and assign them co-host privileges

DURING a MEETING/ EVENT/ TRAINING

No Pre-requisites to become co-host during a session.

How to do it:

> As a host, open the participant.

> Right-click on the prospective participant, select change role, and assign them the co-host role.

Where are you trying to make them a cohost?  In the Webex scheduler? (The one you use on the Webex site)  in Outlook?  If in Outlook is it Productivity Tools? (Webex button on the left of your calendar appt) Office 365 plug-in? (Webex button on the right of your calendar appt) Then I can help you figure out how.

Before that - if you are trying to make an invited attendee a cohost in the scheduling / invitation process that person MUST also have their own credentials to the Webex site you are using.  For example - I can't assign cohosts to my scheduled meetings if they are not on my same @cisco.com domain.  If this is the case you'll have to wait until the meeting starts to assign them the cohost role once they join by right-clicking on their name.

Please check https://help.webex.com/en-US/article/n1bqkbv/Add-cohosts-for-Webex-Meetings-and-Webex-Webinars

Only users with accounts in your Webex site and have host licenses can be made a cohost when you schedule a meeting.

Edit doesn't gives an option to add Co host for a scheduled meting.

Assign Cohost option is greyed out on  Who is invited? This user doesn’t belongs to our site.

But you can change it in the participants List.

Hi @Dail.Hill ,

During a meeting or event, hosts can assign the Cohost role to one or more meeting attendees—even to guest attendees.

  1. Open the Participants panel and locate the attendee that you want to make a Cohost.
  2. Right-click the attendee's name and then select Change Role > Make Cohost.

Please note the option to assign the role is dimmed for attendees who join from unsupported applications.
