PowerPoint animations not working in Training Center viewer

My PowerPoint animations are not working in the viewer of my Training Center sessions. I have the correct options set (UCF) and my PPT file is Office 2016 (I know UCF does not support Office 2013). I have attached the error message I receive (but cannot find any documentation that UCF is not supported with Office 2016). My preference is to share the file in the viewer rather than the application. Anybody else encounter this problem?

Thanks!

Eric:  In the training done by Claire Davis she said that animations do not work with the viewers or readers.  You have to actually be running your PPTX slides in slide show mode and sharing your screen.  The workaround I'm aware of is to create duplicate copies of the slides with each slide having the animation on it, but this doesn't work if your animation requires motion.  It would only work if you're using the duplicate slides to have new content (text, images, graphics, etc) appear or disappear.  It will look like an animation to the participant.  For example, if you have a slide with three bullets of text on it and you want them to show only one at a time, you'd need three copies of the slide.  Slide one has bullet #1.  Slide two has bullets #1 and #2.  Slide three has all three bullets.

Thanks so much Lewis. I am trying to "ramp up" pretty quickly on this and have completed some tutorials and online courses - just had not come across this from anyone. Your workarounds make complete sense and I may re-work my PPTs accordingly so as to not have some of the choppiness that can occur when sharing applications. I will look into additional training that is available as we move forward - can't thank you enough for the prompt reply!

Best regards,

Eric
