in a wireless lan, the wireless NIC could be PCI or PCMCIA.
but some manufacturers (SMC,...) provide wireless NIC that could be used for PC or laptop at the same time. in that it's a PCMCIA card and we just need to add a PCI adapter if we use PC.
does cisco provide such solution?
