How to reset PIN# on a CP-840 IP Phone

Hello all, 

I attempted to setup my initial setup on my CP-840 IP phone. However upon restart I am now presented with a numerical keypad to unlock the phone. Does anyone know how to unlock it? I never entered a Pin#, unless I hit a number accidentally. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Did you follow the instructions in the manual for factory reset?
