Cisco 150ax failed to join existing network

Hi everyone,

I have recent got my replacement of the faulty 150ax at my own cost and I’m experiencing difficulties setting it up. I plugged the new AP into the same port as the old AP and made sure the port configuration is in trunk mode, have access to the same VLANs and native VLANs. The new AP successfully obtained its DHCP ip and shown up in the CSB dashboard as one of the AP the controller discovered. The problem is that it’s shown as “Not operational” and sometimes blink red and green then goes back to the green state. Configuration via the CSB app failed.

best,

Peter

Hi guys,

so the AP now joined the network. I guess it's doing some firmware update in the background and im not patient enough for this as it took serval hours to complete. Thanks for the attention if any was given.

Best Regards,

Peter
