I am using a linksys router, a 2504 WLC with 5 AP's along with an unmanaged 8 port switch.
All these devices are on the same subnet 192.168.100.X with dhcp configured on wlc.
The management IP address of the wlc is untagged and the default gateway is set to the linksys router (for internet access).
The clients are able to ping the WLC & AP's but they are unable to reach the linksys router and thereby have no internet access. WLC will not ping its default gateway.
On connecting a PC to the unmanaged switch with default gateway as the router ip will enable internet access on the pc, so my question is do we need to form a trunk port between the wlc & switch even when the subnet is untagged?
I thought that having the traffic untagged will allow the clients to have internet access or is there some configuration which I have missed?
Thanks
Jasim

The management IP address of the wlc is untagged
The port should be a dot1q trunk or the interface going to the linksys should be tied to the management interface.
